The only four things that can change your invoice
Weight overage
Material above the stated allowance, charged per ton against the disposal facility's scale ticket. We give you the ticket.
Extra rental days
Seven days is included. Beyond that it is a modest daily rate — tell us and we will extend you rather than have you rush.
Dry run
When a truck attends but cannot deliver or collect: a car in the way, a locked gate, or a container heaped above the rail.
Prohibited material
Handling and lawfully disposing of items banned from Illinois landfills that end up in the container.
All four are disclosed when you book. Nothing else appears later. Read the detail in our full pricing guide.

How to compare two quotes honestly
The cheapest headline rate in Bloomington is very often the most expensive invoice. Here is what to actually ask.
- What tonnage is included? This is the single biggest variable. A low rate with a one-ton allowance will cost far more than a fair rate with three tons once your load is weighed.
- Is disposal included, or billed separately? "Rental only" pricing means the tipping fee lands on you afterwards at whatever the scale says.
- How many days? Some quotes are three-day rentals. Ours is seven.
- What is the overage rate per ton? Get the number before you book, not after.
- Is tax included in the figure you were told?
- Is there a delivery or fuel surcharge for my address? Ours is built into the quote, including the outlying villages.
Ask those six questions of everyone you call and the real cost ordering becomes obvious very quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why won't you publish one fixed price?
Because it would be a lie for most jobs. The honest number depends on container size, the tonnage you actually need, how far we drive and how long you keep it. What we can promise is that the figure we give you on the phone is the figure on the invoice — and we will tell you the overage rate up front so there are no unknowns.
Is the price different for the outlying villages?
Distance is one of the inputs, so a run out to Chenoa, Saybrook or Lincoln can sit slightly higher than a drop three miles from the yard. It is built into the quote you are given, not added afterwards. Everywhere in McLean County and the surrounding towns is served at a price we will name before you commit.
Do I pay when I book or when it is collected?
Most residential customers pay by card when they book, which locks the rate in. Established contractors and commercial accounts can be invoiced on terms. If there is a weight overage or extra rental days, those are billed afterwards against the actual scale ticket, which we will show you on request.
What is the cheapest way to rent a dumpster here?
Order the right size rather than the biggest, break furniture down before loading, load flat and fill the voids instead of piling at one end, keep dense material like concrete and dirt in its own dedicated container, and do not overfill above the rail. Booking a few days ahead also helps in spring and after storms.
Is junk removal cheaper than a dumpster?
For a small, well-defined pile that someone else can carry out in an hour, full-service removal often wins. For anything you will fill over days, a container is almost always cheaper per cubic yard because you are not paying for labour. We are happy to tell you honestly which one suits your job.
